Republic of Singapore Air Force said two F16C/Ds escorted the SIA aeroplane till it landed safely at Changi airport. A woman and a child on board have been held back for questioning by the local police. Sources said the airline received the threat call after the plane took off from Mumbai at 11.35pm on Monday. The caller claimed that there was a bomb on the plane.
