The Nilgiri Mountain Railway in Tamil Nadu is a UNESCO heritage site that can be exclusively booked. First passengers to book the train since the reintroduction of chartered services were Graham William Lynn and Sylvia Plasic from the UK who booked the three-coach train for Rs 2.5 lakh for a one-way trip from Mettupalayam to Ooty (48km).
