As the flood waters recede in flood ravaged Kerala, drinking water crisis stares at the southern state with most water treatment plants in towns, villages and cities lying submerged in flood waters.Sensing this urgent need, the Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) in Bhavnagar has sent it's indigenously developed 40-feet long bus housing a water purification and desalination plant to quench the thirst of people of God's own country.
